The Warehouse associate helps manage inventory, receive and unload materials, pull and prepare items for shipment or replenishment, prepare and load outbound shipments, and maintain the safety/sanitation/security of the warehouse environment. He or she appropriately handles all materials following company policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace. Specific duties and responsibilities will be assigned according to assigned department or work station.

Specific Job Duties:
Unload inbound shipments safely and move items to proper storage locations.
Efficiently stack, store, and rotate stock in the appropriate storage areas.
Pull and prepare items for shipment or replenishment, verifying that the exact quantity, size, and type of product is loaded, shipped, or prepared for shipment.
Hand-load products from shipping areas onto pallets in a safe, timely, and efficient manner, ensuring proper product type, size, and quantity is shipped as directed by designated personnel.
Load, unload, move, stack, store, and stage products using a pallet jack, slip sheet machine, forklift, order picker, or other power equipment.
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Maintain the facility equipment in a neat, clean, orderly, and safe manner.
Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment on a daily basis.
Keep appropriate records to guarantee inventory control, rotation of stock, and security are maintained.
Report in writing any safety or mechanical problems with the power equipment.
Assist with physical inventories as required.
Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
Conduct operations in a manner that consistently promotes safety.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High School or Vocational Diploma or GED required
Prior experience working in a warehouse
Working knowledge of computers and computerized hand held devices
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear, stand and walk, sit, reach with arms and hands, lift and carry, use hands and fingers to handle or feel
Able to perform greater than average lifting (25-50 lbs), with some overhead lifting required
Repeated lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, including some kegs
Able to frequently climb or balance, kneel, or crouch
Some work in refrigerated area
Able to maintain very high proficiency and job standards while working in a non-temperature controlled environment that includes exposure to heat, high humidity, and inclement weather
Able to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise levels
