What does an Inside Sales specialist do? The Inside Sales Specialist will execute prospecting activities and provide internal sales help in cooperation with the Territory Manager and Field Sales Representatives. Entry level sales responsibilities with the goal of promotion to outside sales.
What are the essential functions for the position? * Prospecting for potential new customers with the specific goal of turning them into sales opportunities * Follows up active leads generated by marketing activities * Obtains initial information needed to make a business case for a new opportunity * Effectively understands and responds to customer objections * Develop detailed opportunity data by assisting with the identification of key players and decision makers and input into CRM * Provides internal sales support
What does it take to be a successful Inside Sales Specialist candidate? * Ability to clearly communicate with people at all levels of an organization; excellent written and verbal communication skills * Excellent objection handling and negotiating abilities * Ability to organize and self-manage workload around defined project goals * Intermediate level of computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office and CRM * Good organization skills; focused on attention to detail and accuracy * Well-developed interpersonal skills; able to build relationships quickly
