Job Title: Associate Manager

Location: Hershey, PA

Duration:  1 year contract, possibly longer depending on performance and work load.

Compensation: $28-$38


*2 openings available, full-time and part-time.


The person in this position owns the PCM database for the company, is responsible for SAP Master Data accuracy, and prepares analyses of the entire portfolio of projects resulting in reports and findings that are delivered to SVP, VP and Director levels in the BUs, regions and R&D. The findings, metrics and recommendations from these analyses affect portfolio management decisions by these senior leaders about priority, resourcing and timing that impact the company’s ability to meet annual and five year strategic plan targets.


Provide direction and project management expertise to champions in order to implement project objectives of product change management projects.

Proactively provides direction, facilitation, and resolution on more complex process and system issues. Serves as a consultant to resolve issues related to PCM process and system. Understand system integration between PCM, SAP, Tradewinds, JDA, EPM-Live, and GPSS. Understand the complexity associated with the Label Change Control process and how it manages the Bill of Material


Review projects submitted for discussion at gate keeping meetings. Follow up with task owners if any information/approvals are missing from the project. Give gate approvals in PCM on behalf of the regional gate keeping team. Ensure that the process serves the business and maintain process integrity.

Consult with project leaders and innovation Directors to prepare business cases, functional alignment and issues documents to enable stage-gate decisions. Act as a liaison to all functional areas (Packaging, Manufacturing, Research and Development, Quality Assurance, etc.) as it relates to PCM projects.

Generate recommended changes in strategy, priorities and resourcing required reducing risks to business plans.

Participate in the maintenance of PCM system data integrity (ensure people are in the correct roles in PCM, etc.) and documentation pertaining to AEMEA PLM process. Communicate any changes to processes to the necessary parties.

Provide PCM software training to new and existing users as needed across all Marketing and Operations functions SBU’s and regions. Develop training materials and coordinate training plans. Implement new process developments.



  • BA degree required, 5 years work experience in a strong analytical and/or strategic role involving business processes. Experience working across several business functions and with senior management.
  •  PCM stage-gate process resource capable of operating the process.
  • Attention to detail but capable of broad strategic overview.
  • Expert project facilitator capable of managing several hundred projects with all levels from mid-level project leaders up through senior executives.
  • Strong, multifunctional business acumen - marketing, R&D, finance, supply chain, Excellent collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Influential leader and change agent. Capable of gaining trust and credibility with peers and senior executives
