Production Operator
Hauppauge, NY
$14/hr + (depending on experience)
Full-time hours
Multiple Shifts available

The responsibilities and requirements for the position are:

Manufacturing, Product Assembly, and Packaging
Inspection and testing of in process and final product
Operation or Production Equipment; set up and shut down of machinery
Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing (SQDIP)
Follow and comply with procedures
Knowledge of cGMP and ISO (preferred)

2 - 3 years manufacturing experience
Experience working in an ISO or cGMP environment preferred
Good reading and writing skills
The ability to comprehend written instructions
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic math skills
Must be detailed and quality oriented
Have basic computer skills
Ability to use simple hand tools.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must have the ability to push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs, bend during shift, go up and down stairs to operate equipment, and stand and walk 90% of the time during shift. Must also have the ability to visually inspect product and identify defects.
