Kelly Services is looking for qualified candidates to fill the needs of one of our Green Bay customers.

The Paintline position monitors aspects of Paintline production. Individuals in this position are responsible for maintaining production, providing direction to teammates, and insuring high levels of quality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

25% Leadership:
- Facilitate Huddles with all team members daily
- Assign tasks to assembly cell technicians daily
- Convey and support team goals (productivity, COQ, safety, ect.)
- Make suggestions for cell staffing needs
- Support training of technicians
- Maintain and support schedules including shift hand off communication, ordering of parts and actively communicating with Assembly and Fabrication areas to ensure proper priority of
product being painted

55% Production Activities:
- Hang hooks & parts on the Paint line following the identified priorities
- Manually apply powder paint to production parts
- Perform Paint Color Changeovers
- Tape parts coming down from the line, to protect them from scratches
- Inspect & pack parts off of the line (assemble as necessary)
- Record bad parts to keep accurate records
- Maintain proper ph levels and mil thicknesses
- Monitor paint shelf life and re-certify as necessary
- PM entire Paintline

15% Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in continuous improvement activities (Kaizen events, layout planning, Value Stream Mapping as events happen)
- Provide suggestions for continuous improvement
- Monitor productivity and downtime issues to provide suggestions
- Be open to changes occurring to improve processes

15% Safety:
- Properly wear and maintain Respirators and coveralls used for painting.
- Maintain Safety as the highest priority
- Properly train new employees regarding PPE and Safety requirements in the cell
- Notify the Team Leader and/or Manager of safety concerns

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Completion of Leadership training, Lean Manufacturing training, and Paint training helpful. Formal education preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- Prior Powder coat paint experience for a minimum of one year required
- Leadership experience helpful

- Work hours are 8 hours per day and overtime is required at times in order to meet customer demands.

10:00pm-6:00am, Sunday-Thursday*
*Note - This role is primarily 1st shift the majority of the year, but during peak time (late April thru mid-September) you will be required to work 3rd shift. The first shift hours are 6:00am-2:00pm, M-F.
