Receptionist/Switchboard Duties: Perform duties of Receptionist/Switchboard Operator in a professional, refined manner including directing incoming calls (for Aurora and Florence), making necessary pages, placing any operator assisted calls, setting up conference calls, and updating and holding of no-answer calls. Greet visitors promptly and courteously. Issue any needed safety equipment to visitors (safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, etc.). Responsible for making sure all visitors sign in and view the safety video before entering the Bearing Plant or Ring Mill. Answer general information questions over the phone to callers such as "What does your company do? What is your company fax number? ,- etc. Prepares the monthly employee anniversary list for employee bulletin boards. Maintain schedule for use of company van/cars by employees. Also schedules any maintenance service needed for van/cars. Updates all employee training records in Keller. Tracks shoe orders for all employees. Responsible for entering hours worked each week for hourly employees. The HR Assistant provides the Time Card reports for the Receptionist. Maintains a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace. Advocates for and promotes a safe work environment by reporting near misses and/or other safety and environmental hazards, wearing all required PPE and encouraging others to do the same.
