Our client, an international leader in the manufacturing of equipment for both residential and commercial markets, is seeking a Human Resource Manager for their Distribution Center located in the Mansfield, Ohio area. About The OpeningThe primary focus of this full time, permanent position is administering human resource policies relating to worker safety, work culture development, employee relations, governmental regulation compliance, staffing, Workers Comp, and wage/benefits programs.Salary = $70-$80k/year Essential Responsibilities: - Serves as a member of the site Senior Management team to provide strategic and tactical guidance for the facility around people, processes, policies and programs. - Plans, directs, supervises, and coordinates work activities of subordinates and staff relating to human resource policies. - Identifies staff vacancies and recruits, interviews and assists in selection process. - Oversees the investigations and reports on industrial accidents for insurance carriers. - Maintains records and compiles statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates. - Performs challenging staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, employee disputes, and administering disciplinary procedures up to and including terminations. - Prepares and follows budgets for HR operations. - Serves as link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts and helping to resolve work-related issues. - Provides current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.Experience LevelBachelor's DegreeRequirements- Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience - 5 – 7 years of experience in Human Resources - A minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership roleSpecialized Knowledge/Skills: - Belief that HR is truly the employee’s advocate and resource within the organization - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications - Extensive employee relations background including familiarity with all compliance and related employment law issues - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong problem solving and decision making abilities - Demonstrated ability to facilitate large and/or small group meetings - Track record as an HR Generalist with knowledge of benefits, Workers Comp, workplace safety, compensation, employee communication and trainingInterested in this amazing opportunity?
