Kelly Services is looking for a Compensation Analyst for a healthcare provider in Southfield Mi. This is a contract position of roughly 6 month (possibly longer) paying up to $65k.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities - Assist in the administration and maintenance of all compensation programs - Assist in compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions and demotions - Assist in the administration of all salary increase programs such as merit increases, incentive and bonus programs - Participates and completes annual market salary surveys - Prepare market analyses in response to requests received from hospital management - Respond to inquiries, analyze compensation issues, prepare spreadsheets with data for resolution - Acts as compensation administrator to maintain job profile elements and pay plans within the HR system - Provides assistance with the administration of salary increases for employees covered under a CBA - Work on special projects as assigned - Performs other related duties as required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Advanced MS Excel, Access and PowerPoint skills - Strong attention to detail - Good communication skills - Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals - Excellent time management skills - Strong interpersonal skills - Advanced Excel skills - Excellent analytical skills
- Bachelor-s degree in Human Resources, Business, Health Administration or related field required
Work Experience Requirements
- Two (2) years of experience in an analytical role - One year experience in compensation is preferred - Experience working in healthcare is strongly preferred
