Our client, the third largest personal lines insurer in the US, is currently seeking a Technical Recruiter for a 4+ month temporary position with the opportunity for extension.  The position is located in Chicago, Illinois.

As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you will play a vital role in partnering with various business leaders throughout our organization. You will implement and execute hiring strategies to address immediate and long term hiring needs. 


  • Day to day, the Senior Technical Recruiter will proactively consult with business and human resource partners to identify staffing needs 
  • Partner with Leadership to create recruitment strategies focused on filling niche positions within a reasonable time frame 
  • Perform all recruitment process activities from requisition opening to closure for defined areas of responsibility 
  • Be a trusted advisor to leadership and be able to negotiate with the hiring managers on hiring demands according to the market supply & demand 
  • A strong sourcer who is able to think outside-the-box and utilize all available resources to find quality candidates quickly and efficiently

You are required to have 8+ years of Technical recruiting experience in a corporate environment. Experience recruiting for full-stack Java developers, Mobile Developers, Data Scientists, Cloud Architects, etc. at all levels is highly desired. Possess a high level of expertise in Recruiting and Talent Acquisition in an effort to liaise between HR Partners and Management. Strong conceptual thinking skills and the ability to utilize creative and innovative approaches in problem solving. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Strong ability with internet-based sourcing techniques and practices.
