We are currently seeking to fill several positions (20+) for Pharmacy Technicians for our client in both Nashville, TN and Kankakee, IL. This is a 3 month contract with the possibility of extension. This is an excellent opportunity to quickly gain employment and work through the end of March. The first quarter of the year is typically the most difficult to find employment due to the lack in opportunities and the plethora of candidates wanting to find their next opportunity. By working this contract, you’ll be able to bypass all of those challenges. The facility is open 8am – 9pm Monday thru Sunday and a variety of shifts are available. The hours will be 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.

In a nutshell, you will be responsible for processing coverage determination requests (prior authorizations). You will respond to inquiries from customers for information regarding coverage determinations. You will receive both inbound calls and place outbound calls to update various parties/customers on the status of the prior authorization. This is an excellent opportunity to work in more of a corporate environment, which will provide a stepping stone into various other areas of the Pharmacy Technician field. When you have experience in a variety of settings, this allows for more job opportunities and better paying positions throughout your career.


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience in a retail environment
  • Pharmacy Technician certification, is a plus (not required)
