We are currently seeking to fill a Director of Account Management position near Irvine, CA. This is a full time direct hire/perm placement position (not a contract or temp position). The company is small but growing at an explosive rate, which means there are unlimited opportunities for advancement for the right person. Our client has an excellent reputation for keeping their employees happy, which means they offer a very good work environment. Some companies over-hire when performance is good but lay off when performance declines. This company doesn’t engage in that practice. They are very good at setting goals and meeting their projections. The result is long term employee retention.
In a nutshell, you will be assigned a client base and will be responsible for the retention and growth of each client. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with client executives, develop an annual business plan to ensure revenue projects and goals are met. You will work closely with other departments such as Operations, Sales and Implementation. Initially, this position will be remote based but will move to an in-office (Downtown Chicago) position in the future.
* Baccalaureate degree (BA/BS), preferred
* 4 years of experience in Account Management/Client relationship role working for a Health Benefit, Medical Insurance or Managed Care Organization, required
