A midsize accounitng firm located in Sherman Oaks is seeking an Office Manager with general accounting knowledge. This position will report directly to the owner and will be the main individual responsible for managing the office staff and books aside from an outside CPA. The Office Manager will be responsible for running the entire office, supervising staff, performing some accounting functions, and assisting the owners with various projects. The company is offering a pension plan, bonuses, flexible work schedule, and a highly competitive salary. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all office staff (up to 15 at a given time)
  • Perform administrative functions, such as filing, scheduling, answering phones, faxing,...
  • Handle client calls and follow up with billing inquiries
  • Maintain credit card and bank statements
  • Handle expense reports
  • Answer phones and maintain client relationships as needed
  • Handle payroll for office staff
  • Order supplies, train staff, and set up IT stations

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Three+ years (3) experience as an Office Manager, preferably for a business services, CPA firm, OR accounting/fiinance oriented company
  • Must have supervisory experience
  • General accounting knowledge
