Kelly Services is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for a Hotel in Orange, CA. This is a temporary 30 day assignment paying between $18-20 an hour depending on experience.

As an Accounts Payable Clerk placed with Kelly Services, you will serve as an integral member of our client’s accounting and finance team. Primary responsibilities will include paying all bills promptly and accurately after verifying that they have all the proper supporting documents. Ensure that the bills are accurate as to item, price, and extensions and also that they been approved by the Department Head, Director of Finance and Management. You will also perform various clerical duties, i.e., make copies, file documents, etc.

Additional Responsibilties Include:

  • Prepare an complete all month end responsibilities as well as printing month end reports and setting up late bills
  • Provide research on special projects as well as preparing reports for various Department Heads, upon request
  • Coordinate receiving tickets, purchase orders and invoices for proper coding and approval signature
  • Verify that all tickets, purchase orders an invoices for proper coding and approval signature
  • Ensure that all accounts are current
  • Maintain record of payments and ensure vendors files are in proper order
  • Reconcile vendors statements
  • Files and store appropriate reports daily
  • Maintain an open line of communication between guests, team members and management
  • Assist office in any other administrative duties as needed
Job Requirements:

•1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable

•Basic mathematical, problem-solving, and analytical skills

•Possesses familiarity/knowledge of basic accounting terminology and concepts, and manual or automated filing systems

•Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excell, Word, Powerpoint) and ERP systems

•Ability to work accurately under time constraints
