Kelly Services, industry leader in workforce solutions, has an exciting temporary opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Salt Lake City, UT! Our client is a leading corporation that has an immediate need for a business professional that will assist with day to day operations.

Length of Assignment-3+ months

Pay Rate: $14/hour

Hours: 8am-5pm (M-F)

Start: ASAP

Accounts Payable Clerk-

  1. This role will be responsible for performing the day-to-day analysis and processing of invoices and payments, maintaining vendor information, identifying and communicating invoice discrepancies, and researching and responding to invoice or payment queries for the North America and Latin America regions.
  2. Essential Job Functions: Process invoices - Sort, code, verify and enter invoices Reconcile vendor statements to maintain good business relations and preserve ratings with credit reporting agencies.
  3. Ensure the existence of adequate internal controls where required Research and resolve invoice discrepancies Assist Invoicing Lead as needed; participate in or lead special projects that require creative and analytical skills Develop and assist in automating processes utilizing innovative technical and processing solutions
  4. The ability to complete multiple tasks, have strong interpersonal skills, show an interest in and demonstrate the characteristics of a team player Research and respond to internal inquiries quickly and courteously, and follow-up and follow-through for complicated matters Answer vendor inquiries Additional areas of responsibility as assigned.

Basic Qualifications Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent Associate degree in business/accounting preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant accounting experience required
  • Knowledge of standard accounting principles

  • Accurate and timely data entry skills with attention to details
  • Must possess strong time management skills and be able to handle a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment
