Office/Mail Clerk – Pittsburg, PA
Start Date: 1/2/2018
End Date: 5/15/2018
Schedule: 8:30-5 with flexibility
Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour (depending on experience) paid weekly
Skill sets: Attention to detail. Careful document handling required confidentiality Keyboarding skills - will be entering information. Good worth ethic and willing to learn. There will be a lot of handling paperwork, putting it in order and repeating.
Summary: The main functions include sorting checks, keeping payroll records, taking inventory, and distributing mail. Act as an information and communication distributor for an office.
Education/Experience. High School Diploma or equivalent typically required. Entry level to 2 years administrative/customer service related experience required
Skills and Competencies: Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time. Ability to keep information organized and confidential. Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
May be required Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and address complaints. Answer telephones, direct calls and take messages. Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions and other activities. Compute, record and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports. Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems. Perform other duties as assigned.
