POSITION DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Controller, this position is responsible for assigned accounting functions as detailed below.
Payroll: updates payroll hours worked spreadsheet on a biweekly basis
Accounts Payable: reconciles large accounts as assigned, reviews AP batches for client held funds, reconciles AP month end balance to the general ledger
General Ledger: prepares monthly general ledger entries as assigned, reconciles assigned balance sheet accounts, investigates reconciling items and prepares journal entries to correct, complete assigned audit worksheets
Budgeting: participates in agency budget preparation, including but not limited to gathering costs and expenditure information
Billing: backup for Senior Billing Coordinator for agency billing, client income tax preparation
Other responsibilities: coordinate and cooperate with Controller and Vice President Finance to ensure department/agency needs and deadlines are met, participates in agency events, other duties as assigned by Controller and Vice President of Finance
-Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
-demonstrated accounting skills
-computer literate, including Excel and Word
-ability to work with highly confidential and sensitive information
-valid Ohio driver's license
-must have vehicle liability insurance
