Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Location: Fort Collins CO

Duration: Direct Hire

Pay: $90,000/annually DOE

Kelly Services is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join a small team of Engineers. If you are looking for a smaller company where you can learn and make an impact with your contributions then this position would be a great fit for you.

Typical Hardware Engineer project responsibilities include:

  • Collaboratively prioritize requirements with customers, Sales, Marketing, Service and/or Manufacturing and co-workers on the engineering team
  • Determine the architecture and detailed design approach
  • Execute and review designs
  • Develop and execute test plans and procedures for the product
  • When applicable, understand present design and product use model
Specific Objectives/Skills
  • Digital system design including embedded processors, digital filters, data conversion, FPGA
  • Analog measurement circuit design – amplifiers, filters, analog switches, sources
  • Mentor schematic capture and PCB layout
  • C code skills for hardware debug
Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with, or exposure to; signal processing, C programming, Mentor schematic and PDB design tools, circuit turn on and troubleshooting, circuit analysis
Desirable Traits and Characteristics
  • 3 phase power system and large electric motor familiarity
  • Has technical expertise and the knowledge to apply technology effectively
  • Is a self starter – takes initiative to make things happen
  • Demonstrates strong teamwork skills, including cross functional teamwork
  • Continually improves self, product, process and team
  • Communicates clearly and effectively in a team setting
  • Innovates in the areas of product concepts, project content and technology application
  • Satisfies customers, both internal and external
  • Demonstrates high level of professional integrity.
  • High voltage design (to 15KV)
  • Experience in engineering of products consisting of electronic, software, and mechanical content, with history of meeting schedule, scope and budgets.
  • Design experience in determining balance and boundaries for hardware, firmware, and software.
  • Microsoft SW development environments, Agile projects, DSP algorithms, MATLAB
  • Familiarity with Design for Six Sigma
