We are hiring for a Quote Specialist for a company located near Carrollton. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity that starts at $15-$16/hr. The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking inbound calls from commercial customers and quoting information about products and services. A background in a similar role is desired. The Customer Service / Inside Sales position is also responsible for taking care of current and new customers and their requirements through bids, order tracking, and personal follow ups via phone calls and emails. Representative will also serve as back up support to Order Entry. Reports to the Office Manager.
Ideal candidates will live within 6-8 miles of the intersection of Valwood and I-35.
Additional Duties: ·Select the appropriate products to support customer’s needs and prepare a quote.
·Research and analyze customer quotes to provide accurate pricing.
·Coordinate with other departments obtaining accurate information on costs, availability, logistics,
lead-time and other items related to the quotation.
·Check and monitor product availability.
·Understand and calculate estimated profitability.
·Track market pricing and adjust pricing as needed.
·Ensure quotes are 100% accurate and appropriate for customer.
·Ensure customer satisfaction by providing information and guidance on company products.
·Track all quotation activity and ensure all information is available to the customer by the deadline.
·Create and maintain long term relationships with customers.
·Promptly raise issues to management along with potential solutions.
·Strong financial aptitude.
·Must be detail oriented with solid organization skills.
