Located in Richardson, TX

Richardson association for the retail packing and shipping store industry needs Office and Membership Support person for evaluation hire.

Pay $13.00/HR. Full-time Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm.

Will handle existing and new member day-to-day activities. Will be an expert in customer service to assist members with questions regarding the services offered, how to apply for membership, updates and changes to current membership profiles, and support to account holders of the channel managed for a major transportation carrier. Position will require extensive training and knowledge of the services offered as well as the programs managed.

Duties include but not limited to: Manage membership applications, changes and benefits. Member support on both incoming and outgoing calls. Assistance on special projects. Handling billing discrepancies and other member issues. Extensive use of email, spreadsheets and customer management software.

Must be self-motivated, ambitious, customer service oriented and looking to grow with company. Must have a great personality and interpersonal skills. Experience with Microsoft Office business applications and customer service are mandatory. Bi-lingual is a plus.

Job requirements include: High School diploma or GED equivalent Minimum of 3+ years administrative support Basic typing skills Must be familiar with operations of personal computer and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Perform a wide variety of general clerical work including maintaining records, verifying accuracy of information, and recording information into customer database. Understand and follow oral and written instructions provided by a supervisor and/or process manual Input data entry of information and/or other types of information into customer database or spreadsheets. Respond to inquiries and/or problems over the telephone and direct individuals to appropriate information sources. Respond to general complaints and requests for information. Refer inquiries to appropriate staff; route calls and take messages; and perform other Duties and responsibilities as assigned. Paid vacation, holidays, and regular pay increases with bonus potential available once converted to client’s payroll.
