Scope: Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services. - Communicate with customers either by phone or electronically; answering product related and service questions - Answer telephone and redirect calls to specific individuals as needed. Respond promptly to customer inquiries - Suggesting information about other products, services and supplying technical data. - Handling high call volume - Assesses and responds to customer inquiries by reviewing, gathering and researching the customer request/ inquiry to provide proper product needs for a variety of applications - Process orders and order acknowledgements via phone fax and e-mail. - Provide cross reference of competitor product with part numbers and descriptions of appropriate products - Organize workflow by working closely with shipping and production to meet to customer timeframes - Process credits, by investigating and resolving shipping issues, pricing issues, review inventory discrepancies. - Provide written quotations, freight quotes, tracking, and POD information - Manage voicemails, emails and respond in a timely and professional manner - Review and maintain allocated open orders report for all warehouse locations - Maintain unallocated report as to reschedule dates given by Purchasing. Fax/ e-mail all customers of any reschedule dates. - Communicate with Procurement on inventory discrepancies, and items not set up in the JBA system. - Communicate with Purchasing, General Manager and Operations Manager on non-priced items in the JBA system. - Communicate with Engineering to supply Technical support for special projects - Maintain logs books: RGA, Credit cards, ISO log, repair log, production log, - Process credit cards for all divisions and fax receipts to accounting in Toronto. - Process orders for inter-company support
