Kelly Services has multiple Call Center Customer Service Representative openings for our client, one of the leading, national health insurance providers, at their location in Albany, NY.

This is a long term Call Center Customer Service contract is 6 months to 1 year that will be paying $16.50 per hour.

Must have minimum of 1 year call center customer service experience to be considered!

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for coordinating cases for precertification and prior authorization review.
  • Manages incoming calls, including triage, opening of cases and authorizing sessions.
  • Responsible for the identification and data entry of referral requests into the UM system in accordance with the plan certificate.
  • Responds to telephone and written inquiries from clients, providers and in-house departments.
  • Conducts clinical screening process. Authorizes initial set of sessions to provider.
  • Checks benefits for facility based treatment.
  • Develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure customer requests and questions are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service call-center experience is required.
  • Experience in medical or insurance field strongly preferred.
  • PC proficiency.

SKILLS:

  • Proficient written and oral communication and analytical skills.
  • Requires good PC keyboard and Office software skills.
  • Medical terminology training preferred.

Schedule: Training will be 4 or 5 weeks starting at 8:30 ending at 5:00 then the actual work hours will be monday through Friday any 8 hr shift between 8:00am - 6:00pm
