San Francisco Branch has an excellent opportunity available for a Customer Service Coordinator. We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic, team player that can also work independently in our Distribution Department. Excellent customer service skills, analytical and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multi-task are essential for success in this position. The selected candidate will report to Team Leader for the Distribution Department in Hayward, CA.
Purpose: Perform all customer service activities and coordinate processing orders, handling complaints and inquiries in a prompt and effective manner.
60% Respond to customer inquires or requests 40% Communicate with internal and/or external sources to secure information
- Data Entry: Shipping Orders, B/L, Export Data and Serial Numbers - Deal directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face - Respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns, including handling and resolving customer complaints - Coordinate with customers and provide shipping schedule and update information - Trace and follow up with misconnections. Monitor and Manage customers- shipments until completion - Filing claims with carriers for lost, damaged shipments - General business support functions as assigned - Issue billing invoice accurately and follow up with Account Receivables - Prepare weekly & monthly revenue report - Other assignments given by Supervisor or Manager depending on the needs of the department
Skills / Qualifications:
- Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction - Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers - Must be a team player - Computer proficiency(Windows, MS Word, Excel, Lotus Notes, AS 400, PowerPoint Preferred) - Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing - Proficiency in both Chinese and English preferred - Multi-tasking / Organizational Skills - AA or equivalent experience preferred - Typing - 40 wpm or better. 10-key by touch - Ability to work under stress and fast pace work environment - Available to work overtime - Must have the ability to adapt/initiate change on job function
