Technical Support Specialist-Austin, TX
Kelly Services is currently recruiting for a Technical Support Specialist. This opportunity is for our client, one of the world’s leading innovative technology companies, at its location in Austin, Texas.
This assignment tentatively starts in December 2017 and pays $15.50 per hour.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Technical Support position will be responsible for the deployment, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance of the order taking system and its attendant equipment. This position requires extensive knowledge of networking, client-server applications, web standards, and logging in order to diagnose issues. Technical Support personnel will also be responsible for the physical deployment of printers, iPads, and other equipment necessary for the operation of the ordering system. Some travel within the Austin Area will be required.
Primary functions include working with personnel and IS&T in person, over the phone, and via email to assist with problem isolation and resolution, arranging repairs, using judgment to maintain the ordering system.
