Three month+ project for a Payroll Specialist in Southern NH. To qualify, you will possess a strong background in pay practices and payroll taxes.

You will be responsible for:
*Payroll processing, remittances & audit functions of multiple clients while coordinating all incoming payroll data for assigned clients in conjunction with the Shared Services team.
* Scheduling and running the assigned client payrolls by following standard operating procedures.
* Maintaining complete, accurate and timely client and employee records based on real time requests.
* Maintaining complete and accurate client profile notes as well as processing instructions for each client.
* Responding to & resolving incoming telephone, email and case inquiries from clients and/or their employees; delivering the highest level of customer service within expected timelines.
* Creating & managing client communication & their requests; serving as the first point of escalation for their respective clients.
* Balance respective payrolls based on the COS year end calendar, remit all third party remittances by defined due dates, complete all Year End balancing, filing & respective summary reporting.


* Minimum 2 years client service experience
* Minimum 2 years full cycle payroll processing experience- inclusive of year-end balancing, remittances & summaries
* Strong PC experience, understanding of operating systems and MS Office


* Superior client service skills (both verbal and written) and strong active listening skills
* Effective communication skills, with an ability to lead conference calls
* Attention to detail, payroll compliance and audit functions
* Highly developed issue resolution & decision making skills
* Proven ability to multi task and complete tasks and project work within tight timelines
* Self -driven, independent thinker who is highly motivated and possesses an intrinsic passion for quality
* Demonstrated experience in problem solving, negotiation and analytical skills in a team environment
* Refined interpersonal skills coupled with an ability to empathize, align and support our quality vision
* Ability to lead and manage client process improvement initiatives &/or project related requests
* Ability to collaborate & work effectively with peers and/or within cross functional teams
* Demonstrates flexibility in working hours during peak periods
* Ability to work in fast paced, changing environment
