TRC is looking for a Category Manager for a client in Archdale, North Carolina.
The primary function of this role will be to Source, Manage, and Market new and existing lines of Furniture Hardware.
Works with suppliers, purchasing, marketing, and sales departments
Works with Suppliers, Purchasing, and Sales Departments to develop and maintain product programs.
Assesses total value delivered to HAC through supplier/product relationships.
Develops and implements sales strategy and price structure in cooperation with Sales Department.
Develops training tools in cooperation with Product Trainer and Marketing Department.
Assists Sales Department and Customers with technical questions.
Resolves quality issues with Suppliers and Customers in cooperation with Quality Programs Department.
Administers new and existing products with regard to the computer system (makes amendments, adds or deletes products).
Issues product information on new products and changes to existing products.
Works with Purchasing/Traffic to develop effective delivery strategies.
Coordinate with Show Management in development of layouts and exhibit displays.
Make decision on inventory of new articles, deletion of obsolete or slow moving articles and implements strategy.
Develops artwork for product lines in cooperation with Marketing Department.
Maintains product catalog pages.
Attends trade shows as required.
Domestic and International travel required as needed.
