JOB TITLE: Event Coordinator

Shift: 7:30 – 4:30 PM

Pay Rate: $24 - $26

Start Date: ASAP - Likely End Date: 6/4/2018 (Medical Leave)

Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective functioning of training events and special projects. Coordinate, assist with design and development, and support large and/or small scale training programs and special projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source, plan, and coordinate customer training programs and initiatives under the direction of the Director of Field Training
  • Communicate with all field team members on the status of training programs and initiatives
  • Track and document the attendance and completion of training programs by customers and field personnel
  • Lead the scheduling of Preceptor activity with Territory Managers and surgeon Preceptors ensuring that all requirements, documentation, and payments are met
  • Interface with the POCs of other company departments as necessary for the planning and coordination of training events ; Properly document all training materials
  • Manage the Training Status Report providing up to date the training status of all US/ OUS centers
  • Oversee the daily operations and content management of the customer facing education website
  • Track spending, invoicing, and reimbursement for all customers regarding training events
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Assist managers with developing employee training curricula
  • Generate training process metrics reports
  • Manage the annual training calendar, and associated administrative tasks e.g. course invites, interface with trainers/facilitators, raise purchase orders
  • Administer all GMP & non-GMP training records, filing & retrieving of records and training reports for audit
  • Coordinate, prepare materials, and ensure smooth running of the new hire induction program
  • Design and deliver internal training programs e.g. train the trainer
  • Developing process flow charts
  • Provide ownership and project management of training projects/process enhancements
  • Seek out and introduce base business process/system improvements
  • Support the Training Leader in meeting business needs
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding interactions with health care professionals and health care entities

Education and Work Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required

Qualified candidate must possess:

  • Minimum of six (6) years in Training Coordinator/Supervisor role, preferably manufacturing industry OR a combination of equivalent knowledge/work experience
  • Advanced PC skills (word, excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
  • Ability to persuade and motivate others
  • Ability to work within defined budgets

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • Project management encompassing self-directed, highly organized and results-oriented skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and external clients in a fast-pace, emerging growth organization
  • Exceptional time management meeting corporate and departmental objectives
  • Ability to interpret and analyze complex/detailed data
  • Good communication skills to effectively present information both orally and in writing to diverse groups
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve problematic resolution issues quickly and efficiently
  • Ability to make timely and quantitative decisions
