Administrative Assistant – Plano, TX

Kelly Services is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for one of our top automotive clients in Plano, TX. This is a 6-12 month contract position through Kelly Services.

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for but not limited to: administratively driven tasks, purchase order management, invoice tracking, compliance management, budget management, and problem solving.

Responsibilities:

Invoice Tracking

  • Receive logistics invoices Daily, Weekly, and Monthly
  • Track receipts from suppliers/vendors
  • Confirm receipts are done
  • Manage past due issues

Compliance Mgmt.

  • Support Daily Import Operations as needed
  • Importer Security Filing Support
  • Daily and Monthly shipment tracking support
  • Record Retention
  • Electronic Filing of Production Parts data daily.
  • Manage files & contact lists

Position Requirements:

  • Computer literate
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Access, Outlook
  • Must be flexible, organized, thorough, and professional
  • Have the ability to work independently and follow pre-established guidelines
  • Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail is a job prerequisite

Must Haves:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Requires 1-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area

  • Import Operations Experience
